3. FREEDOM OF INFORMATION IN ARMENIA

The project was supported and financed by Eurasia Foundation by the means of USAID.
Time period - August 2001- January 2002.
The above-mentioned two project activities include:
1. To provide legal advisory on the mechanisms of execution of the right to receive information to the citizens, non-governmental organizations, journalists, as well as to the representatives of the legislative, executive and judicial bodies.
2. To expose any case of an unjustified refusal to provide information through mass media.
3. To fulfil a wide campaign on FOI issues producing talk shows, articles, radio features, etc.
4. To organize training for journalists to enhance their knowledge in the FOI field
