The purpose of the project is to strengthen regional cooperation by facilitating exchanges of experiences and best practices, peer-to-peer learning, and coalition and confidence building while acknowledging the different paths and contractual relations of the individual partner countries with the EaP initiative.

The project will target CSOs working in Armenia, Georgia, and Moldova.

Objectives of the project

Objective 1: Identify CSOs in Armenia, Georgia, and Moldova, who are interested in developing the capacity to track down, identify, fact-check, and counter anti-Western disinformation.

Objective 2: Create a capacity-building training module designed to help participants from the identified organizations to share experiences and develop the capacity to track down, identify, fact check, and counter anti-Western disinformation.

Objective 3: Allow for networking and establishing links between CSOs operating in Armenia, Georgia, and Moldova working on anti-Western disinformation issues.

Objective 4: Establish the Disinformation Firewall Community – a network of regional EaP-based organizations working on disinformation and aiming at synergizing regional efforts.

The Project is implemented in cooperation with the Strategic Communications Center (Georgia). The Project started in July 2023 and will end in October 2023.
