3000 persons received knowledge and skills thanks to FOICA

Since adoption of the Freedom of Information Law FOICA has conducted trainings for more than 3000 persons in all regions of Armenia and Yerevan. The topic of the trainings was “How to use the FOI Law” and "How to apply the FOI Law". Trainings were targeted at government officials, media and NGO representatives, lawyers, teachers, students and community leaders. Only last year from April 2008-2009, 700 persons received knowledge and skills on the FOI legislation.
The trainings are conducted by the assistance of the USAID/Armenia.
