The Project is supported by The Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE). The Project started on 1 July 2023 and will end on 31 October 2023.

FOICA will conduct research and will develop a policy roadmap identifying improvements to the identified laws or regulations that can reduce the ability to evade sanctions and provide guidance on how these improvements can be enacted.

Research will be conducted to identify potential methods of sanctions evasion in Armenia. Based on the findings from the research, FOICA will develop a policy roadmap identifying improvements to the identified laws or regulations that can reduce the ability to evade sanctions and provide guidance on how these improvements can be enacted. FOICA will identify laws or regulations that need strengthening, determine the exact language that would strengthen the law, and then determine how the law would be improved through parliamentary processes or if relevant ministries can make changes without a new law.

The draft roadmap results will be discussed with relevant stakeholders to ensure that it is consulted to validate the findings and recommendations in the policy roadmap and gather feedback on how best to implement the recommendations. The final roadmap document will be available in both English and Armenian.
