This project seeks to ensure that journalists and civil society organisations produce and share easy-to-understand information, news articles and contributes to a real debate about budget allocations and spending in Armenia. Duration: 18/05/2018 - 18/12/2019 (19 months), Implementing Partners: Freedom of Information Center of Armenia (FOICA), Maastricht-based European Journalism Center.

Brief Description:
NRSC is an active civil society organization in the road safety sector. One of its missions, revolves around implementing proper monitoring, advocacy of public policies and practices, as well as striving to find solutions through inclusive and participatory means. In an effort to promote NRSC's mandate, a new media project has been proposed in order to promote its outreach, establish contact with citizens, public officials and raise overall awarness. Within this scope of action, a new and pioneering initiative has begun as part of NRSC's online TV station (RStv) on Youtube for debates and reporting. Within the Project scope of this project, NRSC has taken concrete steps towards improving and enhancing its technical and overall professional capacities towards delivering professional, high level media content.
Actions in Brief:
Within the Project NRSC's online TV station (RStv) will launched. The second component of this initaitive will entail the development of an online resource center. The objective of this platform is to highlight various topics pertaining to the sector, discuss about policies and current practices in Armenia, as well as serve as a comprehensive resource center for users who are interested in road safety, with all of its components in the republic of Armenia.
